A long absence not in vain!

Hey fellow watercolor classmates! 

ok so I’m sure you’ve all noticed i havent been in class this week. I’ve had a rough week pretty much. Getting back into the swing of school and everything has been taking its toll on me and i haven’t been feeling good at all this week. But I have started my 1st piece. Its not nearly done yet but it has been started. I think I’ve sort of decided to go bring in both simple and dimensional aspects of my sketches into the final piece. at this moment I can’t post any pictures of them but you’ll see them soon i hope. Um, so since we have to put a picture up I figured I’d put up a picture of a piece by an artist i have recently taken alot of interest in, Jackson Pollock.

First week in Figures in la Environment

Hey fellow art peeps!

this be me first post. sorry its so late. not having internet in your apartment really is a pain. But yeah I’m not really sure what to put up really other than progress in the class or school really. So far, I’ve havn’t got much goin on really. This weekend I’m starting the painting and i am indeed stoked.  I’ve kind of been on this string of flower imagery and the idea of insecurity. The sketches i’ve popped out are along the lines of a flower metaphor for myself, but not in the typical trite way.  here are some pictures of a few the sketches….

the third and final is one i really like but need figure out a good angle in which i can put my head in the flower similar to the second. ideas welcome.
